Mar 11, 2010 · G'day, as I read the BTGuard page, there are 2 alternatives (and price) offered. One is to hide your uTorrent traffic and the other to hide all traffic. I've just reinstalled the preconfigured install and it installed uTorrent version 2.0.3. not the earlier version mentioned above.
Jan 08, 2016 · BTGuard does offer a separate BitTorrent Proxy from their VPN which is cool to see–since it’s cheaper, and more specifically designed to be used for torrenting. However, if it’s anything like their VPN setup and use, I wouldn’t expect very much. Besides that, BTGuard doesn’t offer anything extra to draw you in. While it does not offer as many servers as some other VPN services, BTGuard fared quite well on our speed tests, with average to above average speeds for all three server locations. With no traffic or speed limits, BTGuard provides its users with a thoroughly satisfying experience. The older version of OpenVPN app is stable but it doesn’t have all those features we just mentioned above.
